privatetests arranges private laboratory testing of your blood or other samples at a UKAS-accredited (ISO 15189) laboratory, with every result reviewed, signed and released by a GMC-registered doctor. Results are guidance, not a diagnosis, and do not replace seeing your own GP. If you feel seriously unwell, call 999 or NHS 111 — do not wait for a test result.

You must be 18 or over to order for yourself. Tests for children can only be ordered through a family account by someone holding parental responsibility, and some sensitive test categories are not available for under-18s at all.

• Prices shown include the test, laboratory analysis and doctor review. Any clinic phlebotomy fee or postage is shown at checkout before you pay.
• Payment is taken securely by Stripe at the time of order.
• Because each order provisions laboratory work, orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before your sample is collected or your kit is dispatched.

• Follow the collection instructions provided. If the laboratory cannot process a sample (for example it is insufficient or damaged in transit), we will arrange a free re-collection.
• Results are released to your secure account only after doctor review; turnaround estimates are typical, not guaranteed.
• If a result needs urgent attention a clinician will attempt to contact you promptly using the details on your account — keep them up to date.

Provide accurate details (name, date of birth, sex at birth) — reference ranges and the doctor’s review depend on them. Results relate only to the person whose sample was tested.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate information you provide or from using results as a substitute for medical care.
